Delete your Kitchen Squirrel account

To delete your Kitchen Squirrel account and the data that goes with it:

1. Email [email protected] from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account".
2. We confirm the request by replying to that address.
3. Your account and data are deleted within 30 days of confirmation.

What is deleted

Everything tied to your account: your email address, sign-in records, saved recipes, meal plans, shopping lists and trips, cooking history, ratings, notes, and stored leftovers. If other members of your household have their own accounts, their data is theirs and is not affected.

What is kept

Nothing personal. Anonymous operational records (such as aggregate cost logs that contain no account details) may remain, and routine database backups age out on a rolling schedule within about 30 days of deletion.

You can also delete individual recipes, plans and other content at any time inside the app, without deleting your account. See our privacy policy for what the app collects and why.
